Project Description
Wax-based Oil Repellent
Product Information:
Wax-based oil repellent agents are primarily made from natural or synthetic waxes (such as paraffin, beeswax, plant wax, etc.), offering strong hydrophobic and oil-resistant properties. These agents typically form a protective film on the surface of pulp, preventing oil penetration. Compared to silicone-based oil repellents, wax-based oil repellents are generally more cost-effective, making them suitable for mid-to-low-end packaging products.
Product Name | Appearance | Content (%) | pH Value | Ionicity |

Product Features:
- Natural and Environmentally Friendly: Wax-based oil repellents are often made from natural waxes (such as beeswax or plant wax) or synthetic waxes, offering better environmental friendliness compared to other chemicals.
- Efficient Oil Resistance: Effectively prevents oil substances from penetrating paper, keeping packaging clean, particularly suitable for greasy food packaging.
- Lower Cost: Compared to silicone-based and fluorine-based oil repellents, wax-based oil repellents are more affordable to produce, making them ideal for mass production and cost-sensitive markets.
- Biodegradable: Many wax-based oil repellents have good biodegradability, meeting green environmental protection and sustainability requirements.
Application Scenarios:
- Food Packaging: Widely used in takeaway containers, fast food packaging, fried food bags, etc., to prevent oil from penetrating the paper.
- Eco-friendly Packaging:Suitable for packaging materials with higher environmental requirements, such as biodegradable packaging, paper bags, and more.
- Low-Cost Packaging: Ideal for cost-sensitive markets, offering a high-cost performance oil-resistant solution.
Packaging and storage:
- 120kg PE drums.
- Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place, avoid storing in the open air, at room (0-40℃ indoor cool place), Prevent freezing.
- Shelf life: 6months.
